| The
clinical project provides participating families with a "mother-child
video bonding consultation" with Dr. Beatrice Beebe based
on a video- and audio-taping system at NYSPI. Ongoing clinical
support is offered through the program from an off-site location.
The recording procedures simultaneously serve both the research
and clinical components of the project. The research project seeks
to study mother-infant / mother-child behaviors following the
loss including difficult mourning, anxiety and depression as well
as protective factors.
