Child and Adolescent

AdolescentsMany children have mental health problems that interfere with normal development and functioning. One in ten American children suffers from a mental disorder severe enough to cause some level of impairment. Early evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment can have a major impact on improving the outcome of children’s mental disorders.

The Child & Adolescent Psychiatric Division consists of research investigators, clinicians who provide state-of-the-art, evidence-based assessments and interventions to youth across the full range of childhood and adolescent psychiatric disorders, and a well-renowned education program that provides training for medical students, research and clinical fellowships, and a three-campus residency program.
