Facilities management encompasses maintenance, engineering, housekeeping and the storeroom. Together, these operations help ensure that our buildings and grounds are safe and clean. As a critical component of the Environment of Care Committee, facilities management staff significantly influences the quality of life and the degree of comfort experienced by all employees.

The storeroom staff ensures the receiving and delivery of goods, products & information for the entire facility. 212-543-5772

A 24-hour operation, engineering is our first line of defense should an emergency affecting the integrity of our buildings or equipment occurs. The engineering staff assesses the facility for breaches and works closely with construction crews to minimize disruptions to daily operations in addition to being an important part of PI’s emergency response team. These services contribute to the success of Columbia Psychiatry and the Psychiatric Institute.
