Dr. Yuval Neria & Colleagues in JAMA Viewpoint

The article in JAMA Viewpoint highlights the risk that fear reactions to the Ebola outbreak in West Africa and the US may play in exacerbating disease spread. Dr Neria and his coauthors call for  a coordinated effort to develop better interventions, focusing not only on vaccine development, but also  supporting the psychological needs of the general public, infected patients, family members, and health care workers.
