Health and Aging Policy Fellows Webinar Series

Registration is free and open to all.

Over 1 in 5 older adults reside in a rural region. Often, these regions have limited resources, creating access challenges for aging adults. This session will discuss the shortage of providers, facilities and services (e.g., transportation, nutritious food, etc.) that exist in rural areas and disproportionately affect older adults. The session will also include a special focus on access to health care services for older veterans in rural regions. Panelists will provide policy considerations to address health inequities and improve aging in rural America.
