Health and Aging Policy Fellows Webinar Series

Registration is free and open to all.

Many older adults will require some level of long-term services and supports (LTSS), yet care delivery issues, shortage of the direct care workforce, and financing barriers create challenges in accessing such services. The expert panel will discuss the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic in furnishing services in the community, inequities that exist related to accessing LTSS, the disproportionate impact of COVID-19 on older adults belonging to racial and ethnic minority groups, and the role of COVID-19 in exacerbating workforce challenges. The session will cover recent policy proposals intended to improve LTSS delivery.
