Carney, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry, and Director of the Behavioral Medicine Center at Washington University School of Medicine. He obtained his B.A. in Psychology at the University of Missouri, his M.S. in Clinical Psychology at Kentucky University, and his Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology at Washington University. Dr. Carney is a Fellow of the Society of Behavioral Medicine, an Elected Member of the Academy of Behavioral Medicine Research, and is a Founding Fellow of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy.
